Christian contemporary music service JoyFM plans to enter the Chattanooga market with $900,000 station buys

Chattanoogas biggest locally owned radio station operator is selling two more of its stations to a Lakeland, Florida-based nonprofit that plans to bring more contemporary Christian music to Chattanoogas airwaves to replace ESPN and Big Hits radio.

According to the Times-Free Press, Brewer Media is committed to selling sports talk WALV-FM “ESPN Chattanooga” and FM translator W295BI at 106.9 to Lakeland, Florida-based Radio Training Network for $900,000.
