AMARAVATI: Asserting that the government has no role in the arrest of MP Raghurama Krishna Raju, Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that TDP is conspiring to defame the government.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that Raghurama was involved in anti-party activities who had made several criticisms against the party despite being elected on the party ticket. Since he went against the constitution we wrote a letter to the Speaker seeking his disqualification. However, over the past few months, his criticism went overboard and even started to target the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy more personally, which is clearly evident that all these are taking place under the direction of Chandrababu Naidu, who has been toying with Raghurama to obstruct the government.

SC orders medical examination of rebel YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishna Raju ANI | Updated: May 17, 2021 14:46 IST
New Delhi [India], May 17 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Monday ordered a medical examination of rebel YSR Congress MP Kanumuri Raghurama Krishna Raju at Army Hospital Secunderabad and allowed him to be treated there till further orders.
The Apex Court said that a medical board of three doctors will be comprised which will be headed by the Chief of Army hospital.
It also said that Raju s medical examination by the board will be done in presence of a judicial officer chosen by the Telangana High Court and it will be video graphed. It further said that the reports will be submitted to the top court in a sealed cover.

AMARAVATI: YSRCP MPs have said the conspirators and instigators behind MP Raghurama Krishnam Ŕaju should be exposed in the detailed investigation. Speaking to the media here on Monday, the leaders strongly condemned those who are advocating their support to the arrested MP.
Rajampeta YSRCP MP PV Midhun Reddy said that Chandrababu was behind Raghurama actions, under his directions, he played the drama of being assaulted by the police, soon after the bail was rejected. He said that Chandrababu Naidu has been using Raghurama’s family for politicising things and did not make such remarks or rush up with a letter even when TDP leaders were arrested. There is nowhere written that an MP should not be arrested and cleared that they can inform the speaker during the parliamentary session.
Supreme Court Tells CID To Send RRR To Army Hospital Published by GulteDesk May 17, 2021
Responding to a petition filed by MP Raghurama Krishna Raju over his arrest by AP CID officials and the physical manhandling by the police and medical treatment, the Supreme Court has directed the CID officials to send Raghurama Krishna Raju to Secunderabad Army Hospital for immediate treatment.
The Apex court directed that the medical officer appointed by the Telangana High Court would conduct the medical examination and offer treatment to Raju. It said that the Judicial officer appointed by Telangana High Court would monitor the medical treatment of MP Raju.
