The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority was awarded two grants consisting of $3.5 million for the RTA's Bus Improvement Program and $8 million for the Rail Car Replacement Program. Plus, modernization efforts on the Ohio Turnpike will mean that E-ZPass customers will be able to travel at highway speeds without toll plaza lane gates; and travel after Labor Day is expected to be higher than normal, according to an AAA survey.
