Santa Anita Announces Mandatory Pick Six Payout On Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 & Will Guarantee A $1 Million Payout

The Rainbow Six, which will be comprised of races seven through 12, will get underway at approximately 3:05 p.m. PT.

An avalanche of new money in the amount of $3,967,468 poured in by fourth race post time, creating a total Rainbow Six pool of $4,359,099.

With a big 10-race card planned for California Cup Day on Saturday, Santa Anita Park has announced there will also be a mandatory payout in the 20 cent Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot, with the likelihood of a $3-million total Rainbow Six pool. 

What first started in 2014 continues forward this year when Del Mar’s ninth fall racing meet – the “Bing Crosby Season” in honor of the track’s iconic founder – begins its four-week run Friday and goes through to Sunday, December 4.

Saturday’s Rainbow Six, which will be comprised of races five through 10, has attracted 53 entries, putting average field size for the Rainbow Six at just under nine runners per race.

With a pool that’s expected to exceed $2 million, there will be a mandatory payout in Saturday’s 20 cent Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot at Santa Anita.
