A developer who defrauded investors of hundreds of millions in an elaborate Ponzi scheme has been jailed for just four years, which hasnt satisfied victims fleeced of their life savings.

Ralan Group was one of the country’s biggest private apartment developers when it collapsed in 2019, owing investors more than $500 million.

High-profile developer William O’Dwyer is accused of dishonestly obtaining, by deception, the ability to draw down on $251 million in finance.
