REMEMBER when a few of the pubs in Station Road used to have extended opening hours on Saturdays? In the old days when pubs shut in the afternoon and only opened until 10.30pm in the winter and 11pn in summer, some of the pubs were allowed to open longer when Tauntons livestock market was on.
