Kannauj SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said eight cases are lodged against the accused in different police stations. Four cases were lodged against him in 2018, including sexually assaulting and killing two minors.
The crime came to light after viral clips showed bystanders recording videos of the injured girl lying in the bushes near a government guest house. The police said the accused is a psychopath offender with a history of sexually assaulting minors before killing them.
