Ranchi: Over 3,000 workers and executives of the Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC) on Thursday demonstrated in front of the PSU headquarters.

More than 22 people have been booked by name, along with thousands of unidentified individuals in 25 FIRs after Friday's violence.

Ramesh Bais also asked DGP Neeraj Sinha and other senior officials he had summoned at Raj Bhavan to display photographs on hoardings of agitators who had taken to Ranchi streets against anti-Islam comments by BJP leaders.
