The Carson City Fair is upon us this weekend, bringing fun new activities that are certain to become traditions for Carsonites young and young-at-heart! Check below for the full list of scheduled events Friday through Sunday.

Get your tickets now for the Annual Nowruz “New Year” Celebration Feast to benefit Veterans Healing Camp on Tuesday, March 21 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Casino Fandango Buffet Banquet Room in Carson City. This casual and festive fundraiser features great food, music, dancing, silent auction and door prize.

Just about everywhere you go, you’ll be treated to something to soothe the soul or get the toes tapping. Get the kids up early for the Young Eagle Flights at the Carson City Airport – they’re free, but you need to be on time for registration.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region to help the next three days breeze by, including the Jazz and Beyond Music Festival, Carson City Library’s End of Summer Learning Challenge, history talks at Mormon Station Park, train rides in Virginia City, a sushi cooking class at Sierra Chef on Sunday and more!
