Rev. Fr. Stanislaus Mbamara of the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi, Anambra, who was kidnapped by gunmen last week, regains freedom.

The church through Mr Ezeogu had earlier announced that Mr Mbamara, attached to the Nnewi Diocese, had been abducted by gunmen.

The Catholic Diocese of Nnewi confirmed the incident in a statement by the Chancellor, Fr. Raphael Ezeogu.
