Raphael Wittkowski News Today

Physicists led by Prof Raphael Wittkowski and Prof Uwe Thiele from the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Münster has developed a new model for the dynamics of systems consisting of many self-propelled particles.

For the first time, physicists from University of Münster have simulated the propulsion of freely orientable nanoparticles by travelling ultrasound waves. They have found answers to central questi ...

By generalizing Mori-Zwanzig formalism, scientists derived a model for cosmic expansion by considering uneven distribution of matter in universe.

E-Mail Credit: M. te Vrugt et al. Scientific articles in the field of physics are mostly very short and deal with a very restricted topic. A remarkable exception to this is an article published recently by physicists from the Universities of Münster and Düsseldorf. The article is 127 pages long, cites a total of 1075 sources and deals with a wide range of branches of physics - from biophysics to quantum mechanics. The article is a so-called review article and was written by physicists Micha...
