You have to so you dont have something horrible happen. if you do that, you run other risks. this is one of the other risks. as to unit number 1, if theres new smoke to unit number 1, thats open to speculation, i cant comment what may be causing that. clearly, thats already a compromised plant. earlier, we had gotten good news about unit number 1. they had made progress flooding it with sea water. even though it would kill the plant forever, it would have the positive effect of cooling it down. ...
