The Covington teacher and NKU graduate won the pageant’s crown in Bowling Green over the weekend and will represent the commonwealth at the Miss America pageant in Connecticut this year.

Thieves and vandals are taking away the opportunity for children to start learning literacy at a young age in Northern Kentucky.

The City of Covington's outdoor child literacy effort has become the target for vandals, the city said in a news release on Tuesday.
