Once upon a time... quite a few decades ago, the ANC convinced the entire world that they had the moral high ground to rule over SA. Their brand of morality, conveyed by none other than Madiba, impressed even the most cynical among us. A few years into their reign, their actions morphed from saintly morality into moral bankruptcy.

Electricity minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa is great liar, he is not going to fix Eskom. When he was the mayor of the City of Tshwane in 2016 and said Soshanguve residents would pay a once off payment of R240 for the willy bin while we were paying R45.00 per month

Lately, it has been very hot in Johannesburg and there has not been much rain. If this weather continues, water levels of the dam(s) from where Joburg gets its water will get lower and lower.

It is very disappointing to see opposition parties which are supposed to "unseat " the ANC having squabbles among themselves. They are supposed to be our hope to save this country but clearly, they have other ideas.

So, has it now become the norm for the ruling ANC to always blame everyone for their woes but themselves? Do they think the masses are dumb?

Can this guy who is masquerading as a mayor in a town in the Free State please respect our intelligence? I am referring to Xolani Tseletsele, who was recently suspended after a video in which he displayed thuggish tendencies towards a resident who complained about potholes was circulated. Tseletsele now turns around and says the video was circulated to block him from becoming an MEC.

The recommended sanction by parliament’s ethics committee regarding the EFF’s unruly, selfish and ill-disciplined behaviour during this year’s Sona is just a slap on the wrist.

News organisations across the globe are expressing an ongoing concern over the persecution of journalists, particularly in the Russia-Ukrainian war and the Hamas-Israel conflict.

I have said it before that the extradition of the Gupta family to Mzansi will mean the ANC principals go to jail. Now it’s over unless the National Director of Public Prosecutions decides otherwise.

As we enter the last month of 2023, let us remember the trauma and heartbreak associated with a turbulent and drama-filled year. Our dedicated community honours all those who answered the call of duty.
