There are so many undocumented migrants who come and go all the time. I wonder if the Border Management Agency has brought in any improvements that set it apart from police that have been guarding our borders.

With all the news of war, it is easy to miss a story of a heroic life as Apollo 8 astronaut Frank Borman has died at 95 and yes, I had almost forgotten his name.

So-called Dr Lucia Munongi (Sowetan, November 3) to me was hallucinating about human rights because nowhere in her article is anything about responsibility mentioned.

Minister of international relations Naledi Pandor and minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, have come out with bazookas blazing, condemning Israel for its ruthlessness in dealing with Hamas.

While we abhor load shedding in its entirety, particularly during examinations, we blacks still don’t take education seriously. It’s exactly 1.35am Monday morning in the township I am staying at.

Democracy does not allow government to be dictated to by a party. The party stands for its own constituency, not for the people of the country as a whole. In a democracy, there is nothing like a ruling party – if noted it can be called a majority party.

As long as we are prepared to perpetuate the mentality of always looking at life as one race seeking to dominate over other races, we will never achieve anything valuable in our lives, because there will always be a diversity of races and cultures in this world.
