Bolton hospital physician awarded prestigious university title
A Bolton NHS Foundation Trust doctor has been awarded a prestigious title at the University of Bolton. Dr Ambar Basu, has been awarded the title of Professor of Medicine at the University of Bolton, after playing a leading role in his field at the trust. Dr Basu is currently a consultant physician in diabetes and endocrinology at the trust, and has played a significant part in developing the role of physician associate with the university.
