I thought we had a tornado because it had that kind of hard driving train sort of sound. It was hammering on the roof so hard, it was pretty bad. Reporter and it was no better on the roads. Driving through a heavy downpour on twisty highway 17 can be nerveracking, but try doing it when you cant see a thing. That was scary. At a spot where the pavement turned into a riverbed, the car in front put up is up a rooster tail, it was like trying to steer a sub through a waterfall. It hasnt been easy on anyone up here in the mountains. Just getting around highway 17 and the other lesser highways up here has been very difficult request road closures, mud slides, rock slides, and as you saw it, heavy rain and heavy water on the roadway.
