Lewis Scholars will be outfitted with professional business suits thanks to a donation from JC Penney at Pecanland Mall as part of their bi-annual Suit-Up event on Sunday, February 4 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event is open to ULM students, faculty, and staff, who can receive up to 50% off select career wear with their ULM ID.

The third cohort of Reginald F. Lewis Scholars were pinned during the annual Universities of Louisiana Black Male Summit, held in New Orleans on June 21-22, 2023. Two students from each of the nine University of Louisiana System schools were presented as members of the third cohort. Representing ULM in cohort three are Myles Goldman, a sophomore majoring in History, and Edward Williams, a sophomore majoring in Accounting.
During the Spring 2023 semester, members of the ULM Reginald F. Lewis Scholar program had the opportunity to study abroad in Paris, France for a week. Lewis Scholars at a pinning ceremony at Bayou Pointe on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Representing ULM in cohort two are TRIO Scholar Braxton Jackson, a sophomore majoring in Political Science and TRIO Scholar Eric Lair, Jr, a sophomore majoring in Social Work.
