TORONTO - Summer McIntosh is excited for a run to the Paris Olympics that differs from her last some three years ago.

Canadian swimmer Summer McIntosh has broken her own world record in the womens 400-metre individual medley with a time of four minutes 24.38 seconds at the Olympic & Paralympic Trials.

McIntosh is the two-time defending world champion in the 400 IM. She'll appear in her second Olympics this summer in Paris.
