KUALA LUMPUR: With the centralised Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination being abolished, primary school pupils’ progress will still be evaluated but through a school-based assessment before they proceed to secondary school.

STUDENTS have until today to apply for exemption from remove classes for the 2021 academic year. Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said as of Jan 18, the ministry has received 5,092 applications from Chinese and Tamil school pupils.
