Retired Major General Rene Samonte, chief of the Senate Office of Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA), said his office released Twinkle to her mother, Deepa.

Twinkle Dargani, one of the Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. executives detained by the Senate, was released yesterday on humanitarian reasons after she contracted COVID-19.

In a statement, Sotto said he and Senator Richard Gordon, chairman of Senate blue ribbon committee, agreed to release Twinkle to her mom, Deepa Dargani, after she tested positive for COVID-19.
