Microsoft has finally announced the general availability of the latest Azure Sphere version 22.02 after it canceled Azure Sphere OS version 22.01 in January due to issues in the Retail Eval channel.

Microsoft will not be releasing Azure Sphere OS version 22.01 due to issues in the Retail Eval channel. Now, the next version, Azure Sphere 22.02 will be released in the second half of February.

Microsoft is serious about quality output. That's why Windows 11 is the highest quality Windows the company has ever released (according to it), and why Azure Sphere OS version 22.01 has been put out to pasture.

The high-level app platform's OS has a new version on the way. Expect it to hit on January 26, 2022.
