Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett has been slapped with a four-game ban for his dangerous tackle on Adelaide youngster Ned McHenry.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian judged the tackle in Saturday night s Showdown to be careless conduct, severe impact and high contact, opting to send the incident directly to the Tribunal.
McHenry immediately left the field after the incident, with the Crows confirming on Tuesday that he sustained concussion and will miss their upcoming game against West Coast as a result of the competition’s new protocols around head knocks.

Melbourne forward Bayley Fritsch has been successful in having his one-game ban overturned at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.
The Demons’ leading goalkicker was offered a one-game ban after being charged with striking North Melbourne’s Tom Powell in Sunday’s match.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian originally judged the second-quarter incident to be careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
After electing to appeal the suspension at the Tribunal, Fritsch was able to have the charge downgraded and is now free to play against Sydney at the MCG on Saturday night.
