A group of seniors — self-dubbed "the 3 Old Guys" — this week reached Fairbanks, Alaska, after an epic 8-thousand kilometre snowmobile trek from Minnesota.

After suffering snowmobile breakdowns the last two days of their trip, the three men rode the last leg into Fairbanks on wheels.

With help from local residents, damaged machine is retrieved and repaired.

The trio that left Grand Rapids, Minn., March 6 is in Fort Yukon, Alaska, assessing a sled damaged by fire.
