ESTHERVILE — The Northwest Iowa Concert Band, directed by Rich Nicklay, and the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band, directed by Scott Benjamin, will present their spring concert, Monday, April 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Estherville VFW, 314 South First St. The VFW will be serving a beef or pork basket meal, starting at 6 p.m. and will remain available throughout the concert.

The Northwest Iowa Concert Band, directed by Rich Nicklay of Okoboji, and the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band, directed by Scott Benjamin of Superior, will present their spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 15 at the Estherville VFW — 314 South First St. in Estherville. Admission will be free, and refreshments will be available. The VFW will be serving a beef or pork basket meal, starting at 6 p.m. and continuing through the concert.

The Northwest Iowa Concert Band, directed by Rich Nicklay, will present its annual summer concert at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park Majestic Pavilion. This will be the 31st year of the band performing a summer concert at the park. The band is made up of volunteers from area communities, including Armstrong, Emmetsburg, Estherville, Ringsted, Spirit Lake and Jackson, Minnesota. Music selections will include marches, overtures, patriotic and singalongs.

ESTHERVILLE — The Northwest Iowa Concert Band, directed by Rich Nicklay, and the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band, directed by Scott Benjamin, will present their spring concert, Monday, April 17, 7:30 p.m. at the Estherville VFW, and serving a burger basket (beef or pork) meal, starting at 6 p.m. and going throughout the concert. Volunteer members in the groups come from 15 cities, up to 70 miles away. Free admission and refreshments.
