The Alabama Forestry Commission has proudly announced that its mural in downtown Montgomery, created by an Alabamian from Alexander City, has officially been added to the Alabama Mural Trail. The new mural was unveiled Thursday at a dedication ceremony and open house as part of the AFC's Centennial Celebration. 

All burn restrictions have been lifted across the state of Alabama and burn permits will be issued as normal by the Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC).

MONTGOMERY — Nearly a month after Gov. Kay Ivey issued a statewide "No Burn Order," State Forester Rick Oates lifted all burn restrictions on Monday following rainfall across the state.
