So, if you try to drive the wrong way onto an exit ramp you will typically see two things. Signs indicated you are heading the wrong way and also read road reflectors. Now caltrans is working with uc davis doing a study trying to prevent the problem of runaway drivers in parts of san diego and sacramento they are using cameras to monitor exit ramps and they also installed signs with l. E. D. Lights that flash when a driver is headed in the wrong direction.
