A vital reserve military force serving our country in critical times of need. Sitting in that chair is against everything youve ever learned in the military. True . True. Reporter her story started with the simple opening of a dollar bill. One day i was cleaning out the box and i found nicely folded a dollar bill. I opened it up. And it had the word on it. Reporter she was checking money from the cash box of her informal snack bar. I opened it up. I saw what was on it. I asked questions about it. How dare they do this. And then one of my officers in my office, he came and took the dollar bill out of my hand and he changed the n to a b. Why . Reporter in his interview he said to deescalate the issue. To calm me down. Reporter following the incident, she sent this email over the one in her office. It included, i am requesting that such divisive and negative feelings be kept to yourself. A tree that fell killed a driver around 8 30 this evening. The man was killed by a falling power line along the 2700 block of austin street. And cheryl herd joins us from oakland with more. Reporter as you can see, its pretty windy out here. The trees are sweeping back and forth. But just around the corner on east 22nd and austin street, a man was killed because of the wind. A 30foot tree limb came crashing down on a man who was on his motorcycle in a driveway. This happened about 8 15 tonight. Power lines came down with the tree limb. And right now, police are not ready to tell us if he was electrocuted or not. The guy was getting on his motorcycle or getting off his motorcycle. And the tree branch fell over and killed him. When i got here, everything was blocked off. Reporter down the road, firefighters were battling a twoalarm fire in an abandoned grocery store. And the wind didnt make things easy for them. Experience of a lifetime, turned into a massive disappointment, canceled because of that Government Shutdown. Jean elle is in larksburg. And the school spent a lot of time planning for it. Reporter they do, jessica. And tonight, 60 kids were looking forward to that camping trip. But the Government Shutdown shutdown their campsite. So, tomorrow morning, instead of waking up in the wilderness, theyll be right back here in the dropoff line. We had to bring bandannas because we have to eat our lunches on the bandannas. We pull it up and put the crumbs in the garbage. Reporter trevor and 58 classmates from marin primary and middle school are packed and ready for three nights of camping in the point range national seashore. The whole trip is the best part. And the food. And hiking. Reporter but the Government Shutdown closed the National Park, which means the classroom adventure is off. I was sad because i really liked the trip last year. And i wanted to go again this year as sixth graders b
