GAINESVILLE, Fla.  --   Florida State’s men’s and women’s track teams finished an outstanding first day of competition at the Pepsi Relays in Gainesville, Fla. on Friday.   Men’s 400 meter hurdler James Rivera was just edged out at the finish line for the win in the event with a time of 50.84 which gives him an NCAA qualifying mark early in the outdoor season. AUBURN, Ala. --  Milton Ingraham’s win in the men’s discus led Florida State’s track and field throwers at the Auburn Classic on Saturday. Ingraham, a senior from Miami Gardens, Fla., had the field’s longest throw of 56.68 meters in the discus.  Ingraham was second team All-ACC honor in the event as a junior in 2022 and was a first team performer in 2001.
