Early voting began this week for the Presidential Preference and Montgomery County Primary. On the ballot locally are races for Circuit Court judge, Assessor of Property, Highway Supervisor and School Board.

The Montgomery County Election Commission sent out a reminder on Tuesday morning urging county residents to register to vote for the Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary Elections, which is set to take place on March 5.

Ritchie Patton has announced his candidacy for Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board, District 2.

The list of candidates for the March 5 Montgomery County Primary is now complete, and two of the six local races will be unopposed.
