River levels have been falling but they are expected to rise again. There are flood alerts in place in the upper and lower Teme catchment. River levels are forecast to rise again at Leintwardine, Onibury and Ludlow on the River Corve river gauges as a result of heavy rainfall. FLOOD alerts have been issued for the Tenbury and Ludlow areas. At present there is not an immediate risk to homes and businesses but the level of rivers and streams are rising because of rainfall and melting snow. River levels have risen at the Newnham Bridge river gauge. This is causing flooding of roads and farmland.
