A former teacher's aide at New River Intermediate School has been arrested and charged with battery and assault of a disabled child. Amanda Gail Hollandsworth allegedly wiped saliva off the floor of a classroom and smeared it on the face of a special needs child. The criminal complaint says that Hollandsworth forcefully grabbed the child.
