Anson finance director hired by Richmond County
Garner ROCKINGHAM — Richmond County announced it has made two major hires this month, naming an Anson County official to serve as successor to Finance Officer R.M. “Mac” Steagall who is retiring, and promoted the interim director of Emergency Services to the full time role. Steagall is set to retire on June 30, 2021 after 17 years as the county’s finance officer.
