Cannabis firms in Arkansas await more legal action on laws struck down.

Medical marijuana dispensaries and cultivators told lawmakers Wednesday the states software responsible for tracking their products is unreliable, has crashed their databases and has mislabeled inventory.

An “unusual alliance” across the political spectrum and doubts about business details helped doom the legalization attempt, campaign veterans and observers say.

Rahman responds to last weeks mention of attorney David Couch of Little Rock, a campaigner against the current ballot issue to legalize recreational marijuana.

The odds of success are low for the Arkansas Cannabis Industry Association (ACIA) to get legislation approved in the 2023 Arkansas General Assembly that would expunge records and/or alter jail sentences for those with marijuana convictions.
