Six people are facing charges after an investigation into fentanyl trafficking in Lethbridge that saw particular attention paid to trafficking concerns downtown.

An investigation into fentanyl being sold in downtown Lethbridge has resulted in the arrest of four people, the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team announced Wednesday.

Lethbridge police have arrested four people after seizing more than $40,000 of illegal drugs from several vehicles earlier this week.

Six people are facing charges related to drugs, weapons and stolen property after a home was searched by Lethbridge police.
