Over the last year a lot of change has come to the complex, which Director Conor McGrath described as “such a wonderful asset of amenities for Larimer County to have.” Chief among the changes was the completion of the second phase of the master plan. This includes building out roadways and parking lots and the installation of a new 4-H youth building. 

The transition from Budweiser to Blue Federal Credit Union — who agreed to pay the county, which owns the event center, $7.5 million over the next 10 years — will become effective as of Oct. 1, around eight months after it was announced that the credit union would be taking over the naming rights. For this, both the inside, which officials said in August saw $5 million in renovations, and the outside of the building have seen their share of changes.
