Operating since 1939, Koopman Lumber, a family-owned and -operated business, announced it has acquired Boilard Lumber.

“We’re excited about the opportunities this merger presents,” said Dirk Koopman, COO.

Koopman Lumber, which has operations in Milford and Hudson, has acquired Springfield-based Boilard Lumber.

Whitinsville-based Koopman Lumber has acquired Boilard Lumber, a family-owned lumber yard based in Indian Orchard, a neighborhood of Springfield, marking its first incursion into Western Massachusetts.
