The Enfield Republican Town Committee is calling on two Democratic Town Council members - one of whom is running for state representative - to resign after they were allegedly seen on surveillance video removing GOP signs from the lawn of a store on Hazard Avenue.

About 100 people gathered Tuesday to discuss race and inclusion after police say a resident directed a racial slur at an Enfield High student this month.

Enfield will have its own train platform for the first time in more than 35 years with the help of a $13.8 million federal grant, state officials announced Thursday. The train station will be located in the Thompsonville section, and officials say it will mean more economic opportunities and revitalization for northeastern Connecticut.
