Work is progressing on a project to improve the tennis courts in Mellor Park and a convert a portion of the courts into space for pickleball.

El Dorado city officials heard updates on several city projects earlier this week, including efforts to relocate the city dog pound and build a new workshop for Lions Club Municipal Golf Course -- both of which have been in development for the past several years.

Traffic control devices have been reconfigured at the intersection of Sheppard Street, Champagnolle Road and Madison Avenue and city officials are cautioning motorists to be mindful of the change when traveling through the area.
