The El Dorado Water and Public Works Board heard updates this week on two long-running city projects.

Members of the El Dorado Parks and Playgrounds Commission are continuing to advance efforts to improve city parks by keeping close tabs on ongoing projects and in the meantime, the EPPC and city crews have had to handle an ugly bit of business that recently occurred in a city park.

After hearing updates on several city projects Wednesday, the El Dorado Water and Public Works Board agreed to change the location of its monthly meetings.

A possible tornado or supercell thunderstorm passed through Union County on Wednesday, leaving damaged trees, powerlines and homes in its wake.
