Moira Sleight, editor and publisher of the Methodist Recorder, has been elected as Master of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers – becoming just the second woman to hold the role in more than 600 years.

Following a £7.5m refurbishment project, Stationers’ Hall was reopened today (4 July) by Alderman Vincent Keaveny, in his capacity as Lord Mayor of London.
