Good morning Carson City and happy Saturday! Today we’ve got a ton of great events, including three separate music festivals at Shoe Tree Brewing Co., Bowers Mansion, and the Brewery Arts Center! Check out below to see what’s going on this weekend.

Heading into the weekend, theres a bevy of events around the Carson City region that brings a cool breeze to the first three days of summer. The 16th Motor Officer Challenge kicks off Friday at 7 a.m. at Mills Park. Lace up the shoes for a Friday morning walk at East Silver Saddle Ranch hosted by Muscle Powered.

Luck and politics play into Las Vegas author Michael Green’s analysis of Nevada history from the earliest explorers to mining, tourism and economic diversification in a talk and book signing Thursday, April 28, at the Nevada State Museum, Carson City.

The Carson City Historical Society will hold their annual Holiday Party at the Bliss Mansion, located at 608 Elizabeth St. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM. A light buffet lunch will be catered by A Catered Affaire, consisting of salads, sandwiches and desserts.
