Robert Rivernider, a 58-year-old man who lives in The Villages, is currently serving a 180-day jail sentence after he was convicted of voter fraud.

Citing Robert Riverniders past felonies, an assistant state attorney has asked a judge to sentence the convicted fraudster to more than a decade in prison.

A Sumter County jury yesterday found Robert Rivernider, 58, guilty of three felony charges, each of which carries a maximum five-year prison term.

“Incredible,” Robert Rivernider Jr. said as he was leaving the courtroom. The jury deliberations took less than an hour.
