The News Herald PANAMA CITY BEACH — A pilot who was being sought for recklessly flying a small plane over the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam at Frank Brown Park last weekend has been taken into custody.  According to the Bay County Sheriffs Office, 40-year-old Robert Ryan Gore turned himself in to authorities in Okaloosa County on Tuesday night. Gore has been charged with operating an aircraft in a careless, reckless manner, which is a felony. 

The pilot of a small plane flew about 300 feet over people’s heads at a Florida country music festival and dropped promotional items, causing alarmed organizers to halt the event and clear the stage, investigators said.
