A Political Action Committee (PAC) aimed explicitly at unseating council members up for reelection this fall has raised close to $29,000, far above the typical campaign fundraising in previous Portola Valley council races.

The town of Portola Valley removed the Wildfire Preparedness Committees vice chair on April 5, but is keeping mum about the reasons behind the ouster. The advisory committee has seen an exodus of members in the past six months.
