CHARLESTON — A Mingo County woman is suing Dr. Robert Shin after a CT scan found a foreign body inside her pelvis that was left during surgery. Heather Thompson went to Shin for weight loss surgery and after the procedure, she continued to experience flank pain, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Circuit Court.
