We can tell you three men are now in custody for starting the blaze. We have two reports this morning, beginning with nbcs Miguel Almaguer in the fire zone. Reporter explosive and out of control. The socalled kobe fire sweeping down through tinder dry canyons toward neighborhoods with Million Dollar homes. It is really spreading very, very quickly. Reporter with fire hopscotching through neighborhoods, palm trees turned to blow torches. The days sky, a dark eerie glow as ash rained across the region, closing schools and clogging freeways.
