I visited two businesses in downtown Chico that have acquired new ownership fairly recently, but have kept some of their stores similar to the previous owners' visions.

"I stick together with women. There are certain women owned businesses and we try to support each other. I always meet other women who own businesses and I promote their places as well."

About $150,000 of the $22 million the City of Chico received from the American Rescue Plan will go toward the Youth Well Being Program.
