East Central College will spearhead a new respiratory care program in conjunction with four other community colleges across the state, funded by a multimillion dollar federal grant, according to officials.

East Central College has secured $2.1 million in federal grant funding over the next five years, earmarked for school-wide support systems for low-income and rural students.
