Muncie City Council member Isaac Miller has resigned from the council to take a job with the federal United States Elections Assistance Commission.

Mayor Dan Ridenour easily won in an election that saw fewer than 9%^ of Muncies registered voters go to the polls to settle four contested races.

A Republican primary race for mayor and two council races, District 4 for the GOP and District 6 for Democrats, await voters Tuesday.
